I took Levi and John Michael out the other day to a field below our house that was so Springy and green with yellow flowers that I knew I had to hurry and shoot in it! Plus it was time to do a shoot for Levi’s 3rd birthday. He turned 3 last Friday! I decided to incorporate both the boys since I haven’t taken any Spring photos of them yet. The focus was mostly on Levi though and as you can see from these first two shots he wasn’t having any of it but thankfully he warmed up and started to play a bit. I really do struggle sometimes though with photographing my own children. I sure do enjoy the results though.

Happy 3rd birthday to  my sweet Levi, you are still just a big baby as you call yourself. You are our mischievous child who keeps us smiling and laughing. We enjoy your sweet smile, loving ways and sometimes fast temper because it is all what makes up exactly who you are. Unique, wonderful, all beautiful boy! Words can not express how Mama loves her boys and how their Daddy takes pride in his little helpers who want nothing more than to be just like them. This age … this life … nothing but wonderful!
