When in doubt, get it out. WHAT!? That’s right, I almost didn’t take any pictures when we went strawberry picking. I had my camera in the car with the “big” lens on it. I put Levi in the Ergo carrier and thought, “Hmm, I’m going to be carrying him, the bucket for the berries and bending to help John Michael pick and that thing is going to be cumbersome. Plus, I probably won’t get anything good anyway!” Boy was I wrong. I love these images. I didn’t get the camera at first. Thanks to my Mommy group friends for watching JM while he picked and I ran back with Levi bouncing away! I captured some memories to last a lifetime. That’s what it is all about. I try to remind myself as I chug-a-lug on my photography journey that everything doesn’t have to be perfect. Just do it! Just shoot! Over thinking things is sometimes my worst enemy. We had fun and got some whipped cream and those little shortcake thingys on the way home and enjoyed our haul as soon as we got there. A special shout out to The Farmer’s Daughter!
