When my dear friend told me she was expecting I was so excited for her! Then when she asked if I would take her newborn portraits I was giddy. It is an honor to be one of the first people to meet a new baby. Not only that, I also get to cuddle, soothe and rock them to sleep then spend time placing them just right before I pick up my camera. We spent a couple hours chatting and catching up while trying to get this sweet little girl to sleep because she wasn’t giving in. Once she finally did we moved quickly and she didn’t mind being posed one bit because she was so tired from her curious awake time.
