THE CROSSING AT HOLLAR MILL | HICKORY, BLOWING ROCK, BOONE, NC WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Jennifer and Christopher were married on 10-11-14 at The Crossing at Hollar Mill in Hickory, NC! This venue is awesome! They had both their wedding and reception there and it was just lovely. Jennifer got ready at her Mom’s home surrounded by her bridal party. Everything was perfect and very easy going, which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. There was a thunderstorm while we were out doing the bridal party portraits but we easily made it to a covered porch and finished up a few shots there.

Thank you so much to Melissa Biggers for assisting in shooting this wedding. While I was dodging rain with the bridal party, she was doing the same with the groomsmen. Christopher or “Topher” for short is a big music fan according to Jennifer. So he and they guys all posed for a few shots in their favorite concert tees before getting into their jackets. Luckily the rain subsided for Jennifer’s arrival and for portraits after the ceremony. These two are crazy adorable and really sweet and so their ceremony was heartfelt!

The details and florals were so pretty and the historic nature of the venue just added to the charm. We had beautiful light for their romantic portraits followed by a good party. The band … ya’ll, they were amazing! Seriously, you should check out Back Porch Orchestra! It MADE the vibe and guests loved them. Jennifer and Topher, you were awesome to work with. I wish you all a long, happy and fabulous life together and enjoyed getting to know you.
