Brooke is an absolutely breath taking bride! I love her bridal portraits at her family farm at Miller’s Creek in Wilkes, NC. It is the most scenic mountain back drop for portraits with endless possibilities. The creek, a beautiful arbor covered in greenery with orange buds, open manicured lawn and fields, fence line, large trees and a white column porch. What more can you ask for?
Brooke has the sweetest disposition and I have enjoyed photographing her and her groom, Dustin, over the past few months leading up to their wedding day. They are both teachers and I can tell are just smitten with each other. Her dress is adorned with delicate beads and a lace overlay that is so pretty. It is no secret that I love lace in any form on wedding dresses, hah. It looks amazing on her and she is just glowing with happiness!
We also used her family property for the couple’s engagement session, here. It suited them perfectly especially since it is the location for their gorgeous wedding, which I will share very soon. It is also the site of their home which is so cute! A beautiful yellow and set by the river bank opposite her parent’s home on the other side of the property.
They were married by the creek with a barn reception that had the most beautiful string lights and chandeliers. The décor was so pretty and the space completely transformed into a setting straight out of a magazine. It was a hot Summer day with perfect weather and yellow, greens and orange colors to complete the look. They even topped it off with a few fireworks during the celebration! Tons of fun and pretty coming up to show you from that day.
What an awesome spot to start their life together! Enjoy a few bridal images and I promise to blog the wedding soon.
