Caitlin and Matt are just the sweetest couple who you can tell adore each other completely! I kept hearing all evening at their wedding that they were such a perfect match. You can tell. They were wed in October at the gorgeous Twickenham House in West Jefferson, NC. It was one of the peak leaf weekends for this high elevation and the road leading into the property was completely gorgeous in stunning color.
Caitlin’s touches on her wedding with all of the light blue and regal yellow of the master suite of the house made she and Matt’s wedding seem like a royal Cinderella fairytale. The magical mist of dense fog on top of the mountain only added to the feel. Cait and Matt even braved the drizzle and fog to head up to the overlook on top of the mountain. Normally, the view is stunning but on their wedding day they were wrapped in a white cloud.
They also had those intimate moments of a first look before they headed up to the ceremony building. Love the emotion in first looks and these two were pretty overcome! This beautiful house with its grand staircase made a perfect backdrop for those safe inside from the rain.
Their reception was intimate and fun with plenty of high end bourbon, good toasts and good food! Not only that, I loved their ceremony involving their sweet greyhound. He even had his own special white collar for his ring bearer duties. There were a few comical moments too, you all in attendance know them ;).
I hope life is full of magic and wonder for you guys! I have enjoyed working with you so much!
Special thank you to Lynn James for assisting in shooting this wedding!
