What a treat it was to shoot Leigh’s bridal portraits at The Providence Cotton Mill in Maiden, NC back in November! We had a great afternoon for it at that time of year. A tiny bit chilly but not too bad at all. Good thing too because we took ALOT! Leigh is such a stunning bride that it was hard to limit the ideas for posing and photographing. That is especially true at this awesome historic venue as well.
She and Clark were married here on April 23rd! It was a perfect Spring day with blue skies and warm sun. I promise to blog some of those images soon. For now though, I’m showing off some of Leigh. Isn’t her bouquet an incredible idea? It is made of broaches and it’s heavy. Very creative and pretty. Plus her hair and make-up, boots and wedding veil, oh my! All of it just beautiful.
Don’t you love the tower entry and old brick? It is so charming and has been restored beautifully with open air doors, a wood ceiling and charm galore! Add a bride in a gorgeous dress and boom, we were rocking a bridal session. I love Leigh’s portraits. She brought Clark’s truck along to do a few incorporating it just as the sun set and gave us some pretty light behind the tree line.
I attended the Allen wedding and these pictures are as beautiful as they are a couple!!! Love the setting and the poses that were picked to photograph Leigh.
