The Inn at Crestwood Resort Weddings

Abby and William are getting married in October 2017 at Boone UMC with their reception at The Inn at Crestwood Resort. Keeping with the Fall theme, we made sure to capture their engagement before the leaves faded in the NC Mountains. We met up in downtown Blowing Rock and explored the little overlooked nooks and crannies of the town. Those also helped shelter us from the wind that accompanied their session. As a matter of fact, we experienced the full gamut of weather during our time together. Wind, rain, sun, and we ended with a rainbow. I will take that as a positive sign of great things to come for these two and a blessed marriage.

Despite the crazy weather at times, Abby and William just kept grinning ear to ear. I could tell when they were cuddling up against the weather that they just have an overwhelming joy about them. When Abby told me about William’s proposal to her I thought wow, ROMANTIC. He had all of her family and friends gather under the guise of her birthday and make a path for her that lead to him where he asked for her hand. They have such a great story and professions of serving. That is special you guys and it radiates from you.

As I mentioned, our session closed out with fierce winds and a beautiful rainbow over the mountain range at an overlook they took me to. It was a special spot for them so I’m glad we make the trek for the last few shots even though it was windy. We got out and grabbed a handful while all the leaf lookers were pulling in for the rainbow view. Not many dared to get out. Photography and love is always an adventure and I am so glad they were up for the fun of it.

I am so excited to shoot Abby’s bridals and then their wedding next year. I am sure it will be emotional, joyous and full of love. Thanks for entrusting us with your memories Abby and William!
