Hickory, NC Child and Wedding Photographer
This is John. He is my oldest of 3 sons. He turned 9 in December. December is busy and January brings rest after the crazy Fall season. That being said, I just photographed him for his birthday. I know that is pretty sad. When my youngest turned 3 I realized I better get my act together and grab some pictures of John to document 9 years. This is why some of the images at the end are obviously a glimpse of Spring that we are currently experiencing. Expect another blog post soon of Andy in the field of purple flowers because I photographed him there as well.
Back to John, he is growing so fast and I am so proud of him. He has changed a lot since his 8 year old photos which you can see by clicking here. He has filled out so much and lost some of that little boy. Believe me it’s all still there in personality though. He went from his two front teeth barely coming in to them being big and dominant in his smile. He still loves, loves, loves legos and can tear through the hardest kits in one night. He won’t stop until he is done. He also likes to build in Mine Craft. He says he wants to be an Engineer like his Dad. He has made all A’s so far this year in school. 3rd grade is the first time they get “real” grades and I am so proud of him for working hard. He also likes soccer and is improving there and he and Levi love to ride their bikes and scooters. They like to play construction site outside too. He likes to draw and read as well. Oh and of course he likes to watch TV, mostly Sponge Bob, Loud House and other programs that I am sure are ridiculous. A recent discovery of Smokey and the Bandit has become an obsession along with Outrageous Acts of Science and Mythbusters.
He’s thoughtful and loving. He can be shy but also so loud. He is good to his brothers although Levi and he can argue quite a bit. He can also be full of silliness and he seriously has the best high pitched cackle that I love to hear. He also has some funny dance moves although I see them less and less. That is growing up I guess. John my wish for you as you continue to grow is that you are happy and healthy and see birthdays come and go well into your old age. We love you more than you can imagine.
