Blowing Rock Photographer

I hope everyone is well. We are dealing with over a foot of snow here in the NC mountains. I am just down the mountain but Blowing Rock has to look like a winter wonderland. They usually get a lot more snot than us and we have plenty! It is so pretty but on day 3 of being at home we are getting a bit stir crazy. I’m using the opportunity to catch up on some blogging. I like to work through a lot of the work that builds up in the Fall without being shown during the slow winter season. Today it’s a family session!

This beautiful family asked me to photograph them this Fall. This is the 2nd time they have been behind my lens and they are so sweet and laid back. We found some great light just off the Blue Ridge Parkway and just played in it allowing for some beautiful, casual and loving images. It took a bit for this cute girl to warm up but she finally gave us some toothy grins. Isn’t her brother handsome? He was a ham!
