I met this sweet family in Linville, NC this Summer during the week of the 4th of July. They were super sweet and I really enjoyed their extended family session! To make it easy on everyone we met at the restaurant at Linville Ridge just before their dinner plans. There were celebration activities earlier in the day that were wrapping up. These kiddos had enjoyed at day at Tweetsie Railroad, one of my favorite places!

They still had energy though. Kids are crazy like that, huh? We also dodged a storm barely. I literally hustled to my car with my gear as it was starting to pour. Just before that I was focusing on photographing the sweet ginger boy you see. We got him running and laughing. It was the last bit that needed to be captured. As soon as he did a few laps we got it and BOOM the rain came. Perfect timing!

Because we met in an easy place close to their mountain home, everyone was super relaxed and our session was easy peasy! I will say it over and over again, I love it when families take time to capture some images on their vacation together. So many families are spread out and only get this extended time together a few times a year. It’s a great time to make plans for a session. Thank you all for allowing me to photograph you.
