Warehouse 18 Wedding, Hickory, NC
Amanda and Kevin had an absolutely beautiful wedding day at Warehouse 18 in Hickory, NC! Amanda looked stunning in her beaded gown that caught the shimmer of the warm Edison bulb string lights at this beautiful venue. With a small wedding party and family and friends gathered to witness their vows, it was a relaxed and perfect day. The wedding colors of blues, blush and gold meshed so well with this industrial, rustic venue. Kevin looked sharp in his blue suit and I absolutely love the florals with all the green and neutral tones. Everything was pulled together flawlessly!
Kevin and Amanda met online and spent WEEKS talking and getting to know each other before their first date. Then, they finally had the sweetest dinner in Wilmington, NC. Amanda is an elementary teacher and Kevin works in finance AND has his own restaurant. Even though it was baseball season when they met with busy schedules and living an hour from each other they knew it was worth it to make this relationship a priority. They managed to squeeze in mini travels for day dates and spent as much time together as possible!
A little over a year later the search for the perfect ring was ON. Unfortunately, the world shut down and it was nearly impossible for Kevin to find an engagement ring. He somehow managed to surprise Amanda with the help of their pup, Kona. He placed the ring on her collar and asked Amanda to take her for a walk. She joked, “I have to do everything” as she hooked up her leash and found the BEST surprise! Kevin knelt down on one knee swooped the ring off of Kona’s collar and on to Amanda’s finger before she realized what had just occurred!
During times of uncertainty, Amanda organized the perfect day for their friends and family to celebrate with their wedding day. Together they managed to pull off this gorgeous day before school starting back. Amanda and Kevin want to express their thankfulness for the overwhelming support of loved ones and awesome wedding vendors involved to make their day special.
My own personal thank you to Tracy Brewer for assisting in photographing this wedding. You all were an awesome couple to work with and we wish you all the best in your life together! Many fun filled years full of making memories to come!
