Hello readers! It IS cold today, unseasonably so for April here in NC. That is forcing me to stay indoors and get some random work done and that usually means picking up a session to blog that is well overdue. Today I knew that THIS maternity session from the Winter months would be the one I would choose to work on. There is no way that I couldn’t show off this beautiful Mama!

When we met to do these photos I knew as soon as I saw her gorgeous red velvet dress that I was going to be in love with how they turned out. This couple was incredibly sweet and just smitten as well as you can see. Mom to be was a trooper as well with a bit of walking around Moses Cone Manor. She is absolutely beautiful as well and has the perfect sweet baby bump.

I do not often get the chance to photograph maternity sessions so this was such a treat! I hope you enjoy the images as well. I want to thank you both for asking me to photograph you and capture this special time during your “babymoon” trip to NC. I greatly enjoyed meeting you and know that you are making memories now as new parents.

Now, as we move back to more Spring weather I am looking forward to weddings and all that jazz. I hope everyone is enjoying this season transition. I know I am and look forward to getting behind the lens more often as it continues to warm and green up!
