I have been so excited to photograph these bridals and this wedding at Sky Retreat in Purlear, NC outside of Boone! It is an absolutely gorgeous venue with an amazing view. You may remember Allison and Jackson from their engagement session here. I LOVE their images from that session and Allison’s bridals and wedding day photos are awesome as well. They are such a lovely and easy going couple. It was a pleasure to work with them.

We took time to photograph Allison’s bridal session on a Thursday evening just before her wedding. It was cool and a bit windy at times but Allison was a champ and pushed through it all. Honestly, the wind just helped us out with some of the veil shots. Isn’t she breathtaking? Don’t get me started on that view as well. You’ll see more great shots with that as the backdrop when I blog their wedding day. I know there were some damp eyes from Allison’s Mom and Sister as they saw her in her dress.

Bridal sessions are such a special time for that reason. It is when everything comes together and a sneak peek of the wedding day to come unfolds. It’s a time to make sure hair and make-up are just right for the big day. It also allows us more time to get to know each other even better. Plus, we can make sure there is no rush in capturing images of you as a bride. We get tons of variety and these images will truly be keepsakes as the years pass. Not to mention a great memory to look back on and EVEN more time wearing your wedding dress!
