I met this very large family on the Blue Ridge Parkway to take some pictures this summer while they were visiting. We had perfect weather and temperatures up here in the high country. We were able to get this big group together for some key shots and then the fun began. That’s when we just let the kids be kids and the grandparents love on them. Especially some of these sweet girls who I could tell were really smitten with their grandparents.

I LOVE an extended family portrait session. The big fun, big family, all the dynamics, the chaos in the capture. Some may find it daunting but I think they are super awesome. Not to mention the fact that it makes me really proud that people take the time to do this. I know from experience of not having images like these that you will NOT EVER regret it. Going on vacation to the NC mountains is such and amazing experience. It makes for a great time to get everyone together for pictures as well.

This family had so many cute kiddos and they were all super sweet. I am glad we got to document their grandparents anniversary with so many loved ones from all over. Thank you so much for asking me to capture your memories. I had a blast! You were so fun to work with.
