I kicked off the fall season with Sheri and Matt’s beautiful wedding at The Summit at Cross Mountain in West Jefferson, NC. This venue sits atop the ridgeline and has a spectacular view for the ceremony site. The start of the wedding weekend was met with many storms from a hurricane but thankfully they came through Friday. As we started the day Saturday there rain was expected to hold off and it did. The vibrant blues of the mountains were accentuated by the overcast day and made for such a pretty backdrop.

Sheri and Matt were definitely surrounding by caring family and friends and their day was warm, fun and sincere. They had the best dramatic dip kisses of any couple EVER! I love how they incorporated those into the ceremony recessional, first dance and of course their photos. Sheri looked absolutely beautiful in her fitted gown and of course Matt completely nailed the part of handsome groom. One unique touch to their reception that was super adorable was adding photos of them all through school as the table place cards alongside their gorgeous centerpieces. So cute to see them as they grew up and ultimately found their perfect match in each other.

Also, their cookies, cake and other desserts were spectacular and so was the food. Dan the DJ kept the party going all evening and lots of memories were made dancing the night away. A fun reception is always a delight to capture and they had the best photo booth. Thank you for entrusting me to capture your wedding day memories. You had such a loving crew around you.
