Hickory NC Senior Photographer

I ADORE senior photography! If I could be a senior photographer full time I would gladly run with that gig. For this session we met in downtown Hickory, NC to take these two kiddos senior portraits. We had such great weather and a fabulous time gathering these shots. It was a bit windy that day which made for some hair and cap and gown challenges that gave us an opportunity to laugh and spend a bit more time together. Any of you who have followed my photography journey over the years, 10 plus now, have seen these faces before. This family has graced my lens so many times and I feel grateful to have seen these two grow up. Time goes too fast. Enjoy your littles! Before you know it they will be seniors and ready to spread their wings.

While siblings, these two are not twins. However, they homeschool so this Mom had them both on the same time track for graduation. I love that we incorporated their personalities and interests from the new chick hatchlings to reading and journaling. On my goal list is a desire to do a montage of each of these sweet souls to show their photos over the years including their younger sister as well. This little project has been on my mind for a while and hope to make the time for it. They truly are endearing children, all of them.

When we wrapped up our session I told them I was proud of them, haha. Then added, “Not that I would expect anything less!” I know they are brilliant and each of them engaged in their individual interests. One a bit shy and introverted the other the jokester but both silly. I LOVE that. If I am nothing else in life, I am a MOTHER and I find a complete joy being around kids of all ages. It’s just an amazing journey to watch a person develop into a young adult. As always, I am thankful to this family for allowing me to document them throughout the years as their children have grown.

You guys make my job great! I love these images and I know these two seniors are going to do good things in life. I wish them all the best and can’t wait to see more.
