MOSES CONE MANOR AND THE CROSSING AT HOLLAR MILL BRIDALS | BOONE, BLOWING ROCK, HICKORY, NC WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
October 14, 2014
I can’t get enough of Jennifer’s bridal images. I know I have shared a lot here but even with these there are so many more pretty shots. I’m in love with her dress and long vail! We started our session at The Crossing at Hollar Mill where Jennifer said I do to Christopher “Topher” this past weekend. Then we headed up the mountain to Blowing Rock, NC where we concluded our shoot on the gorgeous grounds of Moses Cone Manor House. You can’t go wrong here with the scenic mountain views and High Country air.
One of my favorite things during a bridal session is combining indoors and out and two types of scenery. When those two are the mountains and that gorgeous view of Bass Lake in the background combined with an old exposed brick building with huge windows, well it’s a win win! I think we nailed it here and Jennifer’s natural beauty shines. Her classic dress with its lace and those red shoes are completely suited for her. A genuine, sweet personality who was willing to do whatever we needed to get the shot and her Mom and friend Dee helped immensely too. She never tired as we covered the grounds of Moses Cone from one side of the house down to the tunnel under the Blue Ridge Parkway. It was even she who asked to climb a hill for a few more amazing shots toward the end that showed the rolling pastures in the background. I love those and am so glad we took the time for that as well as a bit of time to set up some off camera flash shots for a little different look that added a bit of dramatic light. Thanks so much all of you!
I am working hard to share Jenn and Topher’s wedding soon so be sure to check back. It was a beautiful affair with a lot of genuine LOVE!
