What a beautiful couple, inside and out!? I loved photographing them and their wedding in Hickory, NC at The Crossing at Hollar Mill was so pretty! I have really enjoyed getting to know them better and am honored to have captured their day. Family and friends came from near and far to celebrate their union. It was also the Groom’s 40th birthday so of course they had to have a special tribute for that! What a cute little fishing theme for a hobby that he loves. These two both love the outdoors!!!
They had a nature theme carried through alongside meaningful aspects to culture that influenced them. I particularly loved so many of the images on the tables that coordinated to their seating chart. So pretty and just a style I can relate to. The cake was absolutely beautiful with the birds in the nest as a topper. Then, the bride, so beautiful and elegant and I love the delicate touches to her dress. Their first look was so sweet and emotional. Love it when couple’s opt for these!
Their ceremony was just as sweet with the Groom greeting his bride as she neared the end of her walk down the aisle. Then they took the stage together for the saying of their vows. The rest is history as they say, haha. The party at the Mill rocked with Split Second Sound getting guests involved. They are always so great and fun to work with. We had a few kiddos on stage whipping and nae naeing (sp?), which was nothing short of cute!
Rain is good luck on your wedding day and they had some but they also had a clearing for a bit where we were able to do some outdoor photos in a light drizzle. We also took advantage of all the Mill has to offer with some of the couple inside all the way up to the end of the reception using those cool leather sofas. Thanks for entrusting me to capture your day. Best wishes for the most amazing life together!
