I enjoyed photographing this family in Blowing Rock, NC this Fall. We met at Moses Cone Manor House where we explored the grounds and played in the leaves a bit. Yes, I was a bit of a fixture there this Fall because so it is such a pretty place. This family has a history of adoration for the grounds so they were so excited to use the area for their session. They drove up from Hickory, NC and I think really enjoyed the time in the mountains. What’s not to love about this place any time of the year, especially the Fall season.

They were such good sports and their kids were just as sweet as can be. The little boy a bit shy at first but then coming around and the little girl full of sass. She was a master at her own poses and I love the personality shining through in those. She did cartwheels almost the entire time we were walking around. Love that joy!

Since the leaves were late turning this year we were able to get a little color in even though we were past peak times. We also saw horses and had beautiful weather. A great session all around, can’t ask for anything more.

Aren’t their smiles the cutest too? At the end we had a bit of fun playing in the field with some big hugs and tickling. I really enjoyed spending some time with you all and am so glad you asked me to photograph your memories. You have a beautiful family and I’m so glad you have some updated photos to share.
