Brown Mountain Beach Wedding Photographer

I was excited to hear from Melanie when she told me she was looking for a Brown Mountain Beach Wedding Photographer! I have photographed several weddings here. It is always beautiful. Melanie and Matt were married earlier this summer at the resort in Lenoir, NC. This venue is super rustic, chic and outdoorsy. Brown Mountain Beach, located near Boone NC, just calls for adventure. I am so happy I was their wedding photographer there.

Both Melanie and Matt love kayaking and the lure of the rushing water of Wilson’s Creek sold them. The resort’s yurt accommodations as well as an unplugged weekend for guests is so appealing. This venue is great because it accommodates adventure and relaxation. Weekend guests can unwind without distraction. Melanie and Matt even had a food truck to serve guests. I can’t think of a better way to bond with family and friends as you celebrate your union.

The details …

Keeping with the theme the groom and groomsmen were decked out in their Chaco’s. Additionally, Melanie and Matt’s Airedale terriers were an integral part of the day. They were so cute and well behaved. The dogs even accompanied us to the rock along the creek for couple photos. The water was high due to flooding and rains the week prior to the wedding. However, this couple is adventurous so we traversed the rocks and got some gorgeous photos. Not to leave out the bridesmaids, one of which was the florist, they were great and loved on Melanie so well. The colors were beautiful and everyone looked so pretty!

Melanie’s dress was amazing. I say it a thousand times over but lace is always just everything! The girls saw it for the first time as she pulled it out of the bag and they were impressed. She was a stunning bride.

We dodged rain early in the day. Then, Melanie and Matt were able to pull off their first look outside as soon as some imminent clouds passed. Once they were gone it was smooth sailing and just beautiful. They had great music, amazing food and an awesome celebration. We were so honored to photograph your wedding and are thankful to you for entrusting us with your memories.
