Meet Lindsey and Matt, they are one of Michelle Hrin Photography’s 2016 wedding couples. We photographed their Blowing Rock Engagement session this past Fall. Ya’ll, I can’t believe I am that far behind in blogging and I’m sorry! I am catching up though. I mostly can’t believe it took so long to show these images because oh how do I love them, let me count the ways. These two rocked it! Everything just came together for the perfect session. The weather was great and the leaves were perfect.
I LOVE engagement sessions. It is such a great time to learn how the couple is best photographed and for them to get used to working together with me. That combo goes a long way towards capturing those intimate moments during the session. Then on the wedding day we know each other’s grove and when things can be fast paced we can just fall into those moments. That’s how memories and memorable images are made stress free.
We started Lindsey and Matt’s session downtown Blowing Rock, where it was packed. I mean … to the brim with tourists. It was pretty much peak leaf looking season so I don’t blame them. That made for some beautiful warm images though. Plus, we had no problem hitting the little nooks and crannies of town that are on the less traveled path. Then, we finished up at Moses Cone Manor where we added in their cute pups. Seriously, they were so good as you can see in these photos. They were pretty much posing complete with big doggie smiles.
The light was gorgeous but most of all this couple’s personality made their images. Their love for each other shows more in every single one. I am so excited that I get to photograph their wedding in the Spring at Moretz Mills in Hickory, NC.
