Danny and Kari were wed in a beautiful winter wonderland ceremony at The Inn at Crestwood Resort in January. Located just outside of scenic Blowing Rock, this resort has amazing cuisine and a cozy atmosphere. It is an absolutely beautiful venue that I would recommend in every way for a wedding. What a way to start the new year of 2016 off! For me and them! I truly enjoyed this being the start to this wonderful year that awaits and I know they will have many memories to make this year as a married couple.
I love the woodsy winter theme that Kari incorporated throughout their day. While it did rain a bit during the ceremony and afterward, it did not snow. That is quite rare for this time of year in the NC Mountains. Even though the white stuff didn’t make an appearance, it was still incredibly beautiful and mild, which I will never complain about!
Don’t you love her shoes? She was prepared for the cold and possible snow and ready to enjoy the day comfortably. The florals … with their fresh berries and greenery fit the look well. Everything was beautiful and stunning all the way down to the gorgeous long sleeve lace-back gown Kari wore. Picture perfect! This was another intimate gathering of very close family and friends and I will say it again … so RELAXED! Everyone enjoyed an amazing meal together by lit fireplaces in a cozy space overlooking the veranda. You know we had to head out even in the rain for a few night shots there. Then, back in for a fun cake cutting, love Danny’s face. I know he was truly ready to enjoy that amazing cake by Ugga Mugga bakery.
Enjoyed it all you guys and I hope that 2016 brings you a year of newlywed bliss!
