Hickory, NC Baby, Family Photographer … Back in the Fall I photographed this family just after they welcomed their 3rd baby! This is her now at 3 months. It’s so exciting to see these little ones grow at their milestone sessions. At 3 months she is giggling and smiling gigantic grins all because her Mama talked to her behind my camera. Isn’t it wonderful that it is just that simple to light up a baby’s world. There is no better feeling on this earth than that as a parent. That intrinsic joy that your little one has and that you can bring out full fold.

I love all the variations of faces at this age. Mostly because I know from experience with my own that those mannerisms and looks don’t fade and they are recognized later when photos are looked back upon. I am so glad we got some photos in her nursery as well and in the crib. One of my truly favorite things about a 3 month old lifestyle session! Our babes grow so fast and things change, décor changes, cribs are grown out of. That is why it’s a must have for a few of those in my book. Again, all about those memories! Photography helps preserve them while they are there and can bring you back to that time and those feelings of love and life in that moment. Yet another reason that it is just so special for these families to invite me into their home to capture them in their atmosphere. It is a glimpse into how they live and how their day to day moments play out.

The big girls seem pretty smitten with their sister as well. They were right by our sides during our session when they weren’t getting snacks! We photographed these on a snow day earlier in the year. The girls were quite cozy and content though in their beautiful home and wanted nothing more than to show me their bedroom. Thanks for having me over again to take your photos you guys and I am excited to see how much she changes and grows. Until next time …
