16 Hands Farm Bridal Portraits
I am so excited to share Jordan’s bridal portraits at 16 Hands Farm in West Jefferson, NC. This venue never disappoints with its beautiful scenery and amazing barn. Those string lights are everything! Pair that with Jordan’s gorgeous dress and blue eyes and you have magic my friends. She has the most gorgeous hair and skin as well. So beautiful, inside and out. Truly, we shot until dusk because there was so much pretty to capture. I absolutely adore the lace back or Jordan’s dress and she rocked those awesome blue heels the entire session.
We started out photographing her in that pretty back lit sun just as it was setting behind the ridge line near the barn. Then we moved over to take advantage of those string lights. The venue had their cool old car pulled out for us to use for some dramatic and fun shots. We had a lot of fun joking about how Jordan was like a 1920s bootlegger. Then we continued to work our way around the grounds and take advantage of the great areas! They have lots of charming animals here but the best were the black cat and sweet puppy dog that joined us and wanted some petting. Always have an extra hand for that, haha.
We had the perfect cooler temperatures for the session and were able to anticipate how awesome Jordan’s union to Dylan would be at 16 Hands Farm in the coming week ahead. I can’t wait to blog the wedding as well soon. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with this couple since their engagement session this Fall where we hiked to the top of Beacon Heights in the dark to see the sunrise. For now, a stunning bride just before her wedding. What could be more perfect and joyful today?
