This little family is the cutest. I met them in Charlotte, NC for their photo session at the beautiful Lake Norman State Park. It is such a beautiful area with so much to explore. You know what I am always interested in though? You may have guessed, LIGHT. Light trumps everything always. When I arrived I scoped out a spot where it was spilling through the trees near the parking lot. Luckily, those trees were golden with color. This was a late Fall session but our color was also late this year. It all worked out perfectly.

After we got some awesome key shots we explored a little more. We went to the dock area and guess who decided to be a photographer? This little girl. She did a great job too. It has happened more than once with kiddos at my sessions. It makes for some good fun. Isn’t she adorable?

I am so happy I got to meet up with this family again. I had photographed them a year ago when they got engaged. You may remember the awesome shot of their husky with the ring on his nose. If not you can see it and their session here.
