I was so excited when Marci called me about wedding photography at Chetola Resort. She and Chris were planning to get married there in the Fall. They wanted an intimate ceremony with only close family surrounding them. I love working at Chetola. I also love small ceremonies and elopements. Both are so pretty. The grounds at Chetola are absolutely perfect for beautiful wedding photos. They are also amazing for that gorgeous fall light.
are just perfect. They are stress free and about as low key as you can get. They are also emotive and endearing. Marci just kept telling me how they were just ready to take their time for any photo opportunities. Those are the words photographers dream about. The day started in their condo with some photos of Marci getting ready. Then, I met Chris outside with his Mom to capture them together. Finally, it was ceremony time. As her father walked her down the aisle the small crowd that awaited was full of anticipation.
they tied the knot and celebrated. There were champagne toasts and thoughtful words. Tears were shed. Joy was present. I loved being a part of it all. Once we finished documenting their families, Marci and Chris followed me to Thunderhill overlook. There we took more photos. We waited on the sun to start setting over the blue ridge mountains. They were congratulated by the crowd that gathered there for the sunset.
Marci and Chris are the sweetest and I was honored to be a part of their wedding day. They are stunning! Congratulations you two.
If you are planning your own dream wedding. Whether it is an elopement, intimate ceremony or full affair I’d love to work with you. You can find out more here.
